Who are we?

About AFFAT Africa

AFFAT-AFRICA Affat-Africa is an independent non-governmental organization established to impact Agricultural Transformation in Africa. The activities that culminated in the formation of the Association started in 2022 with consultations among Africans and other committed leaders of African descent both at home and in the diaspora. Notably, Elder Stateman and former President Olusegun Obasanjo, a renowned Pan-Africanist, was nominated, appointed and endorsed as the AFFAT-AFRICA GRAND PATRON. Africa is indeed endowed with fantastic natural Agricultural potentials, boasting a vast fertile arable land, favourable climate conditions and fresh lively rivers. It is unacceptable that we continue to face food poverty and scarcity. Our core value is to mitigate these issues, ensuring food adequate for both domestic use and exportation.

Our focus is on empowering farmers, advancing food security, and driving sustainable agricultural practices that uplift communities across the continent.
